Providing unprecedented service and commitment
Jerry Piro is a broker with more than three decades of sales and listing expertise in Marin County. A licensed agent with Coldwell Banker since 1976, Jerry has been one of the highest ranking 'closers' in the county for most of his career. A native of the Bay Area, Jerry grew up in Corte Madera, attended local public schools, graduated from Santa Clara University, and along with his wife Gail, has raised three children in the area.
In addition to being a masterful negotiator, Jerry has a keen understanding of the unique real estate market in Marin. For sellers, this means your home will get the very best marketing placement with just the right descriptive qualifiers to attract the attention of the most suitable buyers. Jerry will create a customized targeted marketing plan and keep you apprised of all activity it generates.
A team of experts
Jerry works with in-house marketing professionals to present your home through many media formats including newspaper, magazine, direct mail and the Internet. Escrow coordinator Kathryn Grothe works tirelessly to keep everything running smoothly through closing and is always available by phone to field any questions you may have about the process.
Insight, experience and a vast network
Having been ensconced here for his entire life, Jerry is a part of the fabric of Marin. He has coached a number of local high school basketball teams, most recently at Redwood High School. 'The Coach' is a great description of Jerry because both strategy and action define him.
On a regular basis, Jerry interfaces with more local families from day to day because of his community affiliations. This network proves to be an excellent sound board for what's going on in Marin neighborhoods. Many parents who have sat on the sidelines with Jerry have benefited from his wisdom and insight into Marin's market and have come to be clients through their confidence in his leadership, both on the court and off.
